Homosassa Scalloping Trips
SCALLOP SEASON 2024 JULY 1ST THRU SEPTEMBER 24TH
Half-day (4-hour trip) $400 FOR UP TO 4 PEOPLE / $50 for each additional person up to 6ppl max
A Multi-boat Trip can be Arranged with Advanced Notice.
Our scallop trips in Homosassa begin at the Florida Cracker Riverside Resort in front of Monkey Island and then a boat ride down the scenic Homosassa River to the Gulf of Mexico. Your scallop charter captain Mike Zeigler will set you up with a great spot to collect your scallops. Scalloping in Homosassa is expected to be very good this year. So come on out and enjoy the 2024 Scallop season with us.
Equipment Provided: Masks, Snorkel, Fins, Scallop Bag, and the required state license. You are welcome to bring your own equipment if you like. You are allowed a cooler, however, nothing oversized (standard cooler is ok), sunblock, hat, and polarized glasses (of course optional).
Once you have your share of these tasty morsels, you can clean them yourselves or as we highly recommend, you can have the local scallop cleaning crew do the dirty work for you for a small fee.
• Corporate Trips Available with Advanced Notice for Fishing & Scalloping Trips
• Cancellation Policy: Cancellation prior of 8 days of the trip is a full refundable deposit. Cancellation 7 to 4 days prior, deposit will transfer over to another trip. Cancellation within 72 hours of the trip is a non refundable deposit. Cancelation due to weather by the captain is a full refundable deposit or transfer to another day.
